Colonial Williamsburg eMuseum

Colonial Williamsburg has an eMuseum. Their description of the eMuseum indicates they have an extensive collection of furniture, folk art, glass, textiles, costumes, and just about anything else you could think of. While the resort and living museum are well known, the eMuseum is relatively new and offers researchers who can't travel to Colonial Williamsburg a chance to explore their collections. The collection is searchable as well as browsable. A quick search for linen yielded 245 examples of colonial textiles, from needlework samplers to doll clothes. Check it out!
