Library After-Hours: Friday & Saturday Nights

The Libraries are pleased to offer additional late night hours for students. Every Friday and Saturday night, the first floor will remain open from 6-10 pm. Limited library services will be available. Enter the library from the new door facing Ridgway University Center via card swipe after 5:50 p.m. to use the space.

After-hours are also offered Mondays-Fridays from 12-4 am.  Interruptions to this service will be posted on the UE app.

LIBRARY AFTER-HOURS START SUNDAY!

The Libraries are pleased to offer a late night study space for students.  The 1st floor will be open until 4 am with limited library services. The upper floors will close at midnight and will not be accessible after that. The current After-Hours schedule is M-F 12-4 am. Access to the Libraries after 11:50 pm Sun-Thurs is through the Ridgway Door only.

This service is dependent on student staffing. Interruptions to the After Hours schedule will be posted on the UE app.  Contact Meg Atwater-Singer (ma35/2487) with any questions.

3rd FLOOR IS OPEN!

The 3rd floor is officially open! Books with call numbers starting B 1264 - H can be found here.

3rd Floor
 Some books have been temporarily shelved on the 4th floor. Their call numbers are A through B 1253 1963.

If you need help finding a book, please ask at the Information Desk.  Please remember that the 3rd floor is a dedicated silent space.

Scultpure "Becoming Evansville" Installed

"Becoming Evansville" by Alisa Holen was installed on Friday. The sculpture was created for the 2012 Sculpt EVV Exhibition and donated to UE by Mrs. Joyce Powell, a 1970 Nursing alumna. The sculpture consists of 200 clay pots that are each inscribed with a date and event in Evansville's history.
