QUILT Photos

The quilts were rehung this morning following routine maintenance.

The Libraries are also the proud recipients of Marcella Stein's quilt.

Come check them out in person!

The Quilts are Back!

After being sent out for cleaning and repair several months ago, the quilts are being re-hung today in the library. There are also two new quilts added to our collect. They are truly lovely pieces of art and it is obvious that a lot of work went into making these. We are very lucky to have them. Be sure and stop in and take a look.

A new search option!?!1?!

Yes, that's right, the libraries has finally(!) unveiled Multisearch (and be sure and say that in a deep, superhero voice). An all-in-one search, Multisearch allows you to search databases and our catalog at the same time. You can choose the types of databases you want to search (arts, sciences, business, education) and save searches to a clipboard. Try it out, or, even better, schedule a session with Shane White (x2247) who will be more than happy to guide your class through Multisearch. And let us know what you think. We love it, but then, we're librarians and we love new ways of finding information. :)

Laptops are Here!

Students, faculty, staff and administrators can now borrow laptops while working in the library. Laptops check out for 2-hours at a time. Laptops cannot leave the library and you will be charged a hefty fee if you damage or lose the laptop AND you are charged if the laptop is even one minute overdue! So pay attention to the clock. For more information, visit the Laptop Polices page

And check out the Libraries New Homepage. Pretty snazzy, no? Thanks to Meg for all of her hard work on the homepage AND the laptops. She's been a busy girl.
