Setting Up Class Pix in ARTstor

With UEL's recent subscription of ARTstor, faculty can set up a personal account.  This allows you to create folders by class, topic, etc.  To get started, select REGISTER from the gold box on the top right of the screen.  Once registered and logged in, contact Kathy Bartelt (kb4 or x2486) and request UEL's authorization code and password.  You must be authorized to make folders.  Have fun!

Questions? Contact Kathy Bartelt or Meg Atwater-Singer (ma35 or x2487).

ARTstor Digital Library Now Available!

Do you need a photograph of Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa or Christina’s World by Andrew Wyeth? Are you creating a project on pop art and need images by Andy Warhol or Jasper Johns? Do you want to closely examine the sculpture David by Michelangelo? The ARTstor Digital Library provides a large array of images for your consideration and it is now available as a permanent subscription at UEL.

The ARTstor Digital Library is a non-profit online digital image library designed to serve educational and scholarly communities with more than one million images on subjects in the arts, humanities, and social sciences. ARTstor provides tools and software to search, present, and share digital images both online and offline for research and teaching. Collections in the Digital Library are continually expanded and updated by collaborating with scholars, museums, photographers, stock photography agencies, and photographic archives in libraries.

Access ARTstor off campus too! Contact Kathy Bartelt (kb4) or Shane White (sw69) with questions or comments.
