What UE Libraries Can Do For You: American Chemical Society Journals

Curious about the influence of a diet rich in fruits and vegetables in preventing cancer?

Need to locate an article dealing with tetrahedral manganese complexes authored by Dr. Bryan Lynch?

Need current information on the persistence of PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls) in the environment?

Concerned about your health and drug resistant bacteria?

Resources to answer these questions can be found in the American Chemical Society Journals online database. The American Chemical Society is the leading publisher of peer-reviewed research journals in the chemical and related sciences. The Society publishes more than thirty-five journals, as well as Chemical & Engineering News and the ACS Legacy Archives. In addition to these publications, thirty-five to forty new books are produced each year.

The ACS publications website provides quick and advanced search options (with the ability to save searches), full text HTML display with in-line references and a figure viewer, and direct SciFinder® links from articles/chapters to the CAS database.

Explore American Chemical Society Journals and contact Kathy Bartelt (kb4@evansville.edu) or Shane White (sw69@evansville.edu) with questions or comments.
