Wheeler Fund Awarded
The Wheeler Award of $1,250 will fund two proposals.
Jim Reising, Engineering, submitted a proposal to purchase standards documents appropriate to electrical and computer engineering. This request will be fully funded in the amount of $974. The remaining available award money will be spent by faculty members representing the interdisciplinary consortium identified as the Cognitive and Neural Science programs. Tony Beavers, Lora Becker, Larry Colter, Dick Connolly, Elizabeth Hennon Peters, and John Lakey presented this request.
Walton M. Wheeler, Jr, (1908-60) served on the Board of Trustees of Evansville College; the Wheeler Fund was established in his memory. Monies available each year are used to purchase materials designed to enhance the collection and support specific projects.
